X-Base is designed for top-of-the-range notebook computers and their users. The design is simple: a large heat sink is installed in an 8 mm-thick aluminum plate and the whole rests on four feet. This structure intensifies natural cooling and allows powerful action without the need for an electric motor.The obvious design is expressed in the line and choice of materials. X-Base is composed of parts machined from blocks of aluminum and stainless steel (except for the heat sink) bolted together.The parts employ advanced technology and are worked and assembled with high mechanical precision. One of the disadvantages that puts people off buying a cooling base is its fixed size. Until now, changing computer meant changing base, because the old base would not fit the new computer. With X-Base, you can change the plate to adjust your stand to your new notebook computer.
